One of the best places to get some excellent 'smokehouse' style BBQ - is the Centerstreet Smokehouse in Batavia NY. The food is *excellent* ... the portions are HUGE (so, bring a friend, or two) and the atmosphere is really interesting. Every time I've been there, the service has been great. Attentive, friendly, helpful, and 'into' the place where they work. They're always good at making recommendations, too, which is really important I think. PS: this place is not the 'I'm in a diet' kind of place, so if you're going there, leave the dieting at home :) Not only are they great little place to eat, but they have a bar, and live music on the weekends. In addition to that all, recently, Centerstreet opened a new roof top patio club called 'High Cotton' - and I've been hoping to get over and see it. - Miss Boo , posted 01/17/06 |
