renaissance ended, going to the dogs? What happened?
2003- good eats, great local events, a nice bar or two.
2007- ?
The restaurants come & go, the only things that seem to hold on are the street fairs, the Rosendale Cafe, and the best little cinema house this side of the river, for miles. Let's cross our fingers the town takes off again.

The last town on earth. Rosendale is an old saloon town, the buildings remember that part. The people still embody the free falling drunkenness of The Ghosts of Rosendale Past, only now its just as easy to get drunk off of flowers as it is to get drunk off of wine.

Living in Rosendale... I lived in Rosendale for about 8 months, and while for the most part, it was a nice place to live, and there are a handful of quaint shops, it's teeming with yuppies and the multi-day street festival that shuts down the center of town makes ordinary life hell.. having to park a mile away from my apartment for 3 days was crazy! I heard the pickle festival was fun, but I never enjoyed having to go to the Post Office to get my mail all the time. The people were nice on the whole though..
