When it comes to tribal dance in WNY, Kadri and her studio, Heartbeat of the East, are *IT* ... and we're blessed to have such an amazing 'home' for dance, such fulfilling classes, such a resource for learning, and such a great place to network and connect with other dancers. I've never seen such an amazing 'collection' and selection of troupes, dues, soloists, and dance projects, under one roof... and to be a part of it all, well... it's just wonderful. What can I say? It really has been like a sanctuary for me for the last year, and things just keep getting better. Also, HBE is home of Northern Migration... which is now going into it's 2nd year... and I think that really says something. - Miss Boo , posted 03/23/07 |

I just wanted to give out snaps to all the Gals at Heartbeat of the East dance studio. After seeing all of you perform I just wanted to say how wonderful you are, as dancers and in your sense of Sisterhood. Kadri, you've created something amazing and I'm so glad to be a part of it. For those looking for a great studio, especially if you are looking to learn ATS and Tribal Fusion- this is the place. Kadri as a teacher is kind, patient, knowledgeable (reason, history, position, world culture- you name it, she knows it) and a master of her art. - Ana , posted 01/26/07 |
